The life of Mrs. Eunice Ajoke Adanlawo was one of extraordinary light a life marked by resilience, elegance, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and to God.
Born on 24 August 1940, she was named Aribonaja, a name given because she arrived on a market day. She was baptized at four months old, beginning a lifelong journey of faith that shaped her character and her legacy.
She was the beloved daughter of Chief Jeremiah Olubila Ageh and Mrs. Esther Adeyemi Ageh, respected members of their community and St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Ifon. Eunice was the youngest of her mother’s five children and had several half-siblings. Though her father had three wives and many children, she became the only surviving child of Chief Ageh a unique role that shaped her into a woman of dignity, wisdom, and quiet strength.
